Montego Bay’s only Premium Nightclub
On December 31st, 2004, Montego Bay's "Hip Strip" welcomed its first ever martini & jazz lounge, Blue Beat. Located by the sea beside the famous five-star dining restaurant Marguerites, Blue Beat, the first of its kind in Montego Bay, was hailed by locals and tourists alike as a welcome addition to the resort city's night-time attractions.
This cosy establishment was immediately adopted as a favourite haunt of Montego's beautiful people and has attracted a string of visiting stars and celebrities.
During the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, Blue Beat came into its own as the only nightspot in the city that was appropriate for the festival's jazz-loving crowd. It is commented that the club add a "new dimension" to Montego's Bay's already vibrant nightlife.
Visitors remarked on the club's sophisticated decor, appropriately done in shades of blue, its exotic Caribbean cuisine and, of course, the feature that has given this great little spot the winning edge: the best martinis in town!
For New Year’s Eve Blue Beat unveiled our new outdoor patio lounge. Sit under the stars in a seaside, South Beach style with a hip Jamaican twist.
Weekly activities include live Jazz from our resident band Scotch, live DJ music nightly, Friday night’s Copacabana Latin flare and Saturdays Guest List. In addition to those weekly events, Blue Beat plays hosts to Montego Bay’s Corporate Mingle in conjunction with Wealth Magazine and Johnny Walker. It also hosts The Unplugged Series which features international and local artist in an intimate and personal setting and Comedy Nights where local comedians come and entertain this discerning audience.
