Where are you off to?
When Visiting Jamaica...
Q. How far are the restaurants from the pier?
A. In Ocho Rios, we’re in the Island Village shopping and entertainment complex, only a 3 minute stroll from the pier. In Montego Bay you can find us only 2 miles away and taxis are readily available for you.
Q. How much does the taxi cost?
A. In the licensed taxis, you will be charged approximately US$5 per person from the Montego Bay pier. Or you can opt to go on the HOT SPOT shuttle which takes you round trip to City Center for Shopping, the Hip Strip which includes Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville, Jamaica Bobsled Cafe and Groovy Grouper on Dr.’s Cave Beach. You can get on and off this shuttle service as many times as you would like for only $15.00.
Q. Does Margaritaville have a cover charge?
A. Nope, you don’t have to pay to get in any of our properties during the day. After 10pm, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays in Ocho Rios and 7 nights a week in Montego Bay, our restaurants are transformed into night-clubs where the current cover is US$10, and you must be 18 to enter.
Q. Isn’t there a ‘Ville in Negril?
A. Our restaurant in Negril is an hour-long, scenic drive right alongside the ocean. Book your trip through the ship’s excursion desk. You can pick up a cab at the Montego Bay pier and when you get there, you’ll realize it is well worth the ride. From Ocho Rios it is only three hours away!
Q. Aren’t there four Margaritaville properties in Jamaica?
A. There are four! Opposite Gate 2 and Gate 16 on the departures concourse in Montego Bay’s Sangster’s International Airport you can find Jimmy Buffett’s Air Margaritaville. So before you fly home, sip on a cold margarita and bid Jamaica farewell the right way.
Down to the Cayman Islands!
Q. How do I get to the restaurant from the ship?
A. Easier done than said! We sit in the middle of all the action Georgetown has to offer. If you’re standing on the center tender pier, look straight ahead and the Margaritaville Cayman is a few steps away.
Q. Any Cover?
A. No, not here, so come on in! Make sure to ride the Green Monster waterslide or sit at our Swim up Pool Bar.
Off to Turks and Caicos!
Q. How far is Margaritaville from the ship?
A. The new Carnival Cruise Center is the first thing you come across. Half a minute’s walk along the pier brings you to the village-like area located directly on the beach, boasting mini spas and plenty duty free shopping. You can find us in the middle of all the action.
Q. Can I walk right in?
A. Go for it! Jump in our pool and swim up to the pool-side bar. Sip on a drink as you relax in paradise.
Anything else?
Q. What should I bring off the boat?
A. If you are planning to swim, relax in one of our hot tubs, or ride one of the waterslides, make sure you have a swimsuit, a towel and sun-block. During the day, there’s no dress code, so be as casual as you please. It’s paradise, shorts and t-shirts are no problem mon!
Q. What can we do at Margaritaville?
A. Any of the Margaritaville spots you decide to visit will provide you with the most fun in the sun for the entire family.
