Opened in February 2002, Margaritaville Ocho Rios was formally christened by Jimmy himself when he and his band staged a beachside concert in front of an audience of loyal parrot heads, tourists and Jamaicans. At 12,000 square feet and seating 450 people, this location is in prime position on the beach at the Island Village shopping and entertainment complex, just steps away from the cruise ship pier.

In keeping with our concept, Margaritaville Ocho Rios is a high-energy bar & grill, providing all-day family fun and night time entertainment. This property features a rooftop whirlpool tub, a 2-story 100 foot long waterslide that soars above the main bar and plunges into the freshwater pool below and 3 bars, including a swim-up pool bar. Of course no property would be complete with our Margaritaville Trading Post gift shop which offers exclusive Jimmy Buffett memorabilia and gifts for the folks back home.

Throughout the restaurant the décor is "rustic Caribbean", using sun-bleached colours and casual furniture. The downstairs area boasts an ambience of beach and relaxation throughout day, urban and "nightclub" by night. Mosaic tile and wrought iron accents on the upper level lend an intimate and sophisticated Afro-Cuban feel to our Havana Day Dreamin' bar and lounge.
