The original Margaritaville concept was developed by two Jamaican entrepreneurs. With years of experience between them in the hospitality and real estate development industries, they created a fun and exciting place the whole family could enjoy and both locals and visitors could relax and have a good time. A cool place on the waterfront where good food and drink flow and the fun never stops… in a word, Margaritaville

In 1995, we launched our flagship Margaritaville restaurant on the "Hip Strip" in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Featuring Jamaica's first waterslide, a delicious menu of familiar treats and island favorites and a night club that quickly became Mobay's number one party spot, the legend that is Margaritaville Caribbean was born.

Less than a year later in 1996, we unveiled the second restaurant in the chain, Margaritaville Negril, firmly planted at the water's edge along Negril's world famous 7-mile white sand beach.

In 2000 we joined forces with Jimmy Buffett and became the Caribbean franchise holder for Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.

The deal was sealed in 2001 and Jamaica joined the Jimmy Buffett family with the opening of Air Margaritaville at Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport.

The fourth and largest Jamaican Margaritaville location, Margaritaville Ocho Rios, debuted in February 2002. Located on the beach at the Island Village entertainment and shopping complex, it quickly became a hit among the local party people and cruise ship passengers who dock at the pier just steps away. Jimmy helped celebrate the opening in fine style with his first Jamaican concert performance ever, right there on our beach.

In 2005, we opened Air Margaritaville II at Montego Bay's Sangster International Airport.

2006 was a very busy year for Margaritaville Caribbean. In February that year, we opened Margaritaville Turks & Caicos at the Carnival Grand Turk Cruise Center. Just six months later, our seventh restaurant, Margaritaville Cayman, opened along the waterfront in George Town, Grand Cayman. With waterslide, swim up pool bar and two floors of fun, Margaritaville Cayman is our biggest and boldest location so far! 

For nearly two decades, Margaritaville Caribbean has provided Jamaica and the Caribbean with the best food and entertainment options for locals and tourists alike.
