Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Montego Bay — where it all began.

Hailed as the place to party on Montego Bay’s “Hip Strip” Gloucester Avenue, Margaritaville is perfect for anyone looking for exciting entertainment, a lively, fun atmosphere, delicious food and concoctions. Opened in January 1996 by Jamaican owners Brian Jardim and Ian Dear to appeal to both visitors and the demanding local clientele, Margaritaville has established itself as a ‘must see and do’ for all.

By day, parrot heads can enjoy international sporting events on the big screen TVs, or jam to the laid back sounds of Jimmy Buffett while sunbathing on the seaside pier.  At night, the ‘Ville comes alive as the Hottest Nightclub in Western Jamaica and swings to the sounds of our in-house deejays while on theme nights including Bong night, Caribbean night and Ladies night.
The busy open-air bar downstairs serves up a rainbow of 52 tropically-flavoured margaritas and signature 22-ounce bongs of beer. Sizzling fajitas, salads, pizza and, of course, the world famous Cheeseburger in Paradise are menu favourites, while mouth-watering desserts like Cosmic Key Lime Pie and the Last Mango Cheesecake are a delicious finale. And the kid’s menu is sure to satisfy even the pickiest parakeet!

A popular attraction with both adults and children are the 120ft waterslide, which winds its way from the rooftop terrace above into the warm Caribbean below, the two giant water trampolines connected by a log cross or the floating Margaritaville deck anchored offshore.

Over the years, Margaritaville has entertained superstars such as rappers Nelly, Busta Rhymes, Jermaine Dupree, P. Diddy and Run DMC and seen its share of big-name celebrities like Dennis Hopper, Danny Glover, Lance Armstrong, Cindy Crawford, Tiger Woods, Gabrielle Union and Uma Thurman. They all agree, Margaritaville is the most fun this side of Paradise!
